NarrA.I.tive empowers storytellers by merging AI and traditional artistic crafts

Beall Applied Innovation announced the launch of NarrA.I.tive. It is an initiative that blends the university’s academic strengths with the global entertainment industry and the innovative spirit of Orange County to harness artificial intelligence across creative industries. NarrA.I.tive’s action plan includes establishing UC Irvine and Orange County as global leaders in reshaping the artistic and technological ecosystem surrounding storytelling, attracting partners and collaborators to support the state-of-the-art initiative, creating revenue-generating content and tools, unifying academic excellence with emerging content production methods, and developing a structure for efficient project execution and student involvement.

Excelencia in Education has recognized the Latinx Resource Center as a 2024 Program to Watch. Excelencia's Programs to Watch are innovative, up-and-coming programs that make a positive impact on the success of their Latino students. The Latinx Resource Center aims to broaden access, increase retention and ensure a clear pathway to graduation for Latinx students through providing resources, programs and a space where cultura, arte and academia intersect.

The Staff Appreciation Picnic is a volunteer-staff led annual event hosted by the UC Irvine Staff Assembly to recognize and say thanks to the staff for all they do for the campus community. The picnic is about coming together, appreciating staff and enjoying a meal. UC Irvine welcomes all staff from the campus and UCI Health locations to come tomorrow from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Aldrich Park.
