The School of Medicine is the first in the U.S. to create a Space Medicine Mission-Based Program for its students. Steller, assistant professor of obstetrics & gynecology. “The goal is to train future physicians to support the diversity and expansion of humans in spaceflight,” said Nelson, while Steller emphasized that “understanding how space affects every aspect of human health will be essential as spaceflight becomes accessible to broader populations.” #SpeakUp4Science |
